To everyone who entered our recent Building Stories poster and Journalism competitions. The winners have all been notified via email so well done if you were one of them!
And if you weren’t one of the lucky people, don’t forget to keep checking back because we’re always giving stuff away. We’re nice like that.
And so… our giveaway has come to an end. The lucky winner is Eleni Kalorkoti, who will be receiving a copy of Building Stories very soon!
Thanks to everyone else who entered - if you didn’t win, don’t get too downhearted as I’m sure we’ll be giving something else away at some point in the near future.
Stay tuned though, we’ve got lots of exciting stuff coming up…
Another day, another reminder. This time it’s about the Cape/Comica/Observer Graphic Short Story Prize. The deadline is fast approaching but there’s still time to get your entries in.
If you’re an aspiring illustrator, here’s the chance for you to get your work seen by industry experts, see your work in print in The Observer and win £1000.
This year’s judges are Charlie Higson (actor, comedian and author of the Young Bond series), Hannah Berry (author of Britten and Brulightly and Adamtine), Rachel Cooke (The Observer), Dan Franklin (Publisher, Jonathan Cape), Paul Gravett (Director, Comica Festival) and Suzanne Dean (Random House Creative Director).
The runner-up will receive £250 and their entry will appear on The Guardian website.
The deadline for entries is 12th October 2012.
